Programs That Add In-Demand Skills

As you will see in the tables below, communication skills, teamwork/collaboration, and problem-solving appear in the top five of all baseline skills requested by employers. Students in WPI’s online master’s in business programs hone these skills throughout their courses, especially during their work on projects and the final capstone.

WPI Business School’s emphasis on learning-by-doing means that students can also practice their specialized skills: for example, online MBA students assess and assemble talent and timelines, online master’s in business analytics students write SQL queries to access and manipulate data, and online master’s in information technology students work on the front and back-end to develop low-code smartphone apps.
