The Indra Group announced, this Thursday, October 30, that its profits reached 291 million euros until September, representing an increase of 58% compared to the same period in 2024.

This growth is attributable to the positive performance of the Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Defense divisions.

The reported net profit includes a one-off financial income resulting from the increased stake in TESS, a Spanish defense company. Excluding this extraordinary effect, the result reached 216 million euros, which represents a growth of 17% compared to the first nine months of the previous year.

The group also saw a 20% increase in the number of orders during this period, reflecting positive performance across all its business divisions.

The Group’s executive president, José Vicente de los Mozos, highlighted “the progress of all business units, especially aerospace and defense”, highlighting that “the acceleration of our industrial plan, with the expansion of our productive and technological presence, is preparing us to lead the execution of special modernization programs”.

In July, the company strengthened its position in the unmanned aerial systems market with the acquisition of Aertec Defense & Aerial Systems (DAS).

In the same month, the Indra Group obtained financing of 385 million euros from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to boost its research and development activities in the Defense and Space sectors, marking this as the largest loan ever granted by the EIB to a Spanish company in the sector.

At the end of September, the Indra Group’s workforce was 61,475 people, an increase of 5% compared to the previous year, with the most pronounced growth occurring in Spain, where the number of workers grew by 7%, totaling more than 36,000 employees in the country.
